Our next concert – 2 November 2025

The Monteverdi String Band, comprising of Oliver Webber (violin), Hannah Ely (soprano) and Toby Carr (lute / theorbo) opened our 2025/6 season in fine style to a very appreciative audience performing their concert, “A Thousand Flexible Ways”.

We now look forward to welcoming back the wonderful Chelys, with their concert “The Best Hand in England” celebrating the life and works of Orlando Gibbons, 400 years after his death.

The concert will be held at the Old Bishop’s Palace, Worcester at 15.30. Tickets are already on sale via earlymusic.sumupstore.com

Great News!

It has finally been agreed that the Old Bishop’s Palace (WR1 2JD) will be our home for our forthcoming 2025/6 season.

Parking is available strictly for Blue Badge holders only, but the nearby Copenhagen Street car park (WR1 2EY) is just a few minutes’ walk away. The quickest and easiest way to access the venue from Copenhagen Street is via Deansway.

You will find information about our season’s concerts on the Events page of this website, via our Facebook and Instagram pages and also the Continuo Connect (www.continuoconnect.com) website.

Due to rising costs, we have taken the decision to increase ticket prices by a small margin. Online ticket sales are now available via the SumUp link: earlymusic.sumupstore.com
