Something a little bit different – The Emily Askew Band brings together an adventurous collective of well-renowned musicians, breaking boundaries with their creative contemporary folk and early music. Their lively performances excite and captivate audiences with their wild dance tunes, haunting vocal harmonies and beautiful lyrical melodies.
The use of early instruments including the vielle, viola d’amore, bagpipes, shawm, frame drums, medieval bells and recorders, with modern folk instruments such as the guitar, violin, cajon and electronics, creates an innovative musical experience unlike any other bands on the folk scene today.
Tickets available, including a Festival ticket for all concerts. More Information here.
