Croome Four Seasons project

We have been successful in attracting funding from the Arts Council, the Bransford Trust and Worcester Arts Council for our latest outreach project.

2016 sees the 300th anniversary of the birth of the celebrated 18th Century landscape gardener, Capability Brown. One of Brown’s first projects was Croome Court (National Trust) situated just outside Worcester. Continue reading “Croome Four Seasons project”

April News (part 2)

Our 2016 Early Music Festival was a resounding success with superb performances by  K’antu, Duo Dorado and the Musical and Amicable Society, as well as record numbers in the audience for each event. So THANK YOU for your support and encouragement. So many people commented on the high standard of performance, and many were delighted to find such quality music making here in Worcester. We have been very lucky to access funding from the Arts Council Lottery Fund to manage a project in four Worcester Schools this summer.

Our Croome Four Seasons project will celebrate the 300th birthday of Capability Brown, with a visit to Croome Park, and follow up work with the Four Seasons composed by Brown’s near contemporary, Vivaldi. Continue reading “March News”
