Author: Barbara Dunn

Barbara trained as a teacher and worked for most of her career in Primary Education, eventually serving as a headteacher in Reading and then in Worcester, before taking early retirement. She has been involved with Worcestershire Early Music from its beginning, delivering workshops and organising concerts and the Pride and Prejudice Ball. Barbara is an enthusiastic amateur musician, playing regularly in many different formal and informal gatherings. She performs with the Lachrimae Consort on flute and recorder

Mayday Baroquathon

Looking ahead to 2017

Sadly, after much thought and deliberation, we have decided for many reasons not to go ahead with the New Year Ball planned for January 14th .

However the 2017 festival in May is shaping up well, with an additional event to add to the three concerts on 5th, 6th and 7th May and the May Ball on Saturday May 13th. Continue reading “Looking ahead to 2017”

August 2016 Newsletter

Our outreach projects have drawn to a close after a successful summer in Redditch and Worcester City, and the prospect of a new venue for the continuation of the Hear My Voice Project is being developed throughout this month, with a view to being operational in September.
