Summer draws to a close

Our Summer lunch time concert in Old Saint Martins, Cornmarket, on August 16th, concluded our summer season. Simon Ponsford sang works by Dowland , Byrd, and Orlando Gibbons in a recital entitled Time Stands Still, with David Ponsford playing the Virginals. It was well attended and very much appreciated by all who came.

And now we are looking ahead to our next exciting event which is the collaboration with Worcester Concert Club and Carnival Band. If you would like to sing in the concert on Sunday December 10th given by the Carnival Band, then you need to apply to attend the workshop on Sunday November 19th….but hurry as the 30 allocated places are nearly all taken!! Visit www.carnivalband.com to book your place.
